The Pride Brussels 2010

Special EVENT – A view from our friend’s balcony over one of the small squares in the gay part of Brussels, where the sounds systems compete. Gradually we noticed real characters in the crowd… The Walker, Greyboy and Pinky, so view on! This is 3-4pm… the real thing kicked off much later of course. Who are you guys – you’re a sociologist’s dream and a great advert for integration.

Emerging from the crowd, a famiilar man in pink – dramatic and energised. And our man in grey. Go for it! Now watch the looks they get from the cool (clearly ungay) dancers. A very accepting atmosphere… AND THEN I GET SPOTTED!! This is a very special moment; a real mix of gays and straight, exhibitionists and bizarre interactions. At 4mins 10s, the Walker makes his first appearance.

Same characters appear – The Walker, Grey boy, Pinky and our friendly dance group. This is also so culturally diverse – and Pinky moves in on some real cuties. He proceeds to demonstrate how a real Queen should move. Who are you all? Truly fascinating, and great dancing.

Classic… The Walker in grey finally gets movin! (this is an hour after the first video – these interactions went on for 5 hours right up til we left).
